January 9th Makeup Class

I have found a lesson in Catholic Brain for the children to make up for missing the class. The username is PastorTom and the password is tappan120. Go into Lessons again. Click on Advent and Christmas. Scroll down to The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, click on "Read More". Have the children watch the video and complete the quiz. You can print the quiz with their answers or write their answers on a sheet of paper and hand them in when they return to class.
January 2nd Makeup Class

As you are well aware, our region is in the midst of yet another pandemic surge. Unfortunately, our current staffing levels are not sufficient to allow us to begin classes on Sunday January 2 as scheduled.

In order for our students to get “credit” for this missed week I have found a lesson on Catholic Brain, The Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God, that I feel is appropriate seeing it is the holy day we celebrate on the 1 ^st of January.

Please log into https://www.catholicbrain.com/login and use username - PastorTom and password - tappan120.

Choose “Lessons” from the white strip near the top of the page. Then scroll down and find “Holy Mary” in the left-hand column of blue banners and click on it. Then scroll again until you find The Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God. Press the “read more” button and have your child watch the video and record their answers to the Mary the Mother of God Quiz and the Fill in the Blanks on a piece of paper. There will be a total of 14 answers .

Please be sure to write your child’s full name and class on the paper so that I can give them credit for the class and have your child bring the paper with them to class the week of January 9 ^th .
